So I really wouldn't recommend it with heavier paddles
Attached this holder to our paddle board with a sticker and lost it in the lake the same day. While on the board it seemed like he really couldn't hold the paddle securely, he was just wobbling around. I also use carbon fiber paddles so I wouldn't recommend using them with heavier paddles. Good idea, it just didn't feel like there was enough support to hold a 6ft paddle.
