Both heat and cold can be very handy
I bought this for personal heating, not space heating. I bought it because I need it while reading. It gives off enough heat at high rpm that I occasionally turn it down, even for short periods when in use. The adjustable angle lets you point it exactly where you want it, and the fan moves enough air to be efficient for summer use. This is exactly what I needed. When heating, make sure you place it within 3-4 feet of where you want it, but also make sure there is nothing around the heater that could easily burn. Therefore, as soon as it gets warmer, you will be full and satisfied.
