These were the exact Nunn Bush shoes I bought 10 years ago for size and model. These shoes were fantastic and held up exceptionally well until the soles separated from the upper. When I tried to get the exact same shoes I ordered, I realized how much the shoe's construction suffered under the new manufacturing standards. The sizing was not comfortable, 9 1/2 the width I'm used to wearing. They are wider and also I believe in 10 years they will be longer than 9 1/2 widths. In addition, after wearing the shoe for 3 hours in the service, the shoe actually broke in all places on the upper leather where a crease had formed. It was like a transparent layer of paint that cracks when bent over and over again. If it's leather, I don't know what they covered the leather with, but it looked awful. I had no trouble getting my loan back thanks to Revain's return policy. Buyer warning!
