I bought this chair at a good discount about a week before Christmas and given the issues with it I'm grateful I didn't pay more than I did. This is a good sized chair suitable for both adults and children. Its back is actually taller than any of our sofas in the room it's in, to give you an idea of how big it is.* It's pretty comfortable.* The sound is actually pretty good. It has a theatrical stereo sound, and bass, treble, etc. can be adjusted. There is a subwoofer on the back of the chair so you can feel the sound coming from inside the chair when the base is up.* If you have a Bluetooth TV like ours, you can pair it and play the sound through the chair . It is also suitable for pairing phones and tablets with the chair to play music or game sounds. Cons: * It's heavy and bulky. This means that simply moving it is not easy. We had to find a permanent place for him in our family room. Not the end of the world, just thought it would be a gaming chair for my son that we could put out of the way when not in use. * The red stripe shown in the picture is actually dark pink/berry. . It's not an attractive color at all.* It's very cheap. You can tell at a glance that he's not going to hold up well. The fabric is a kind of faux suede that sticks from animal hair to down like white on rice. The back of the chair is already coming loose where it curves down and we've only had the chair for 6 days. I have now paid $103 off for it using the coupon I had with my credit card. For the price I think it's worth it. Anything over $120 is too much to pay for this chair, and even that amount makes it worth paying for.
