I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.
This device worked for 3.5 years and began to act up - it suddenly loses the network, until you reboot, it does not appear (I suffered for 3 days). I ordered a new one (but it seems like the firmware is different, newer), the courier delivered. I connected - it works. Decided to put the old back and give it one last chance. And now, for 3 months, the old adapter has been working perfectly, without interruption. The new adapter is in the box and waiting in the wings.
