Review on Tinpec Tungsten Woodworking Engraving Polishing by Mike Rogers

Metals (copper, silver, gold) in my hobby. I love this quality set of 1/8" Tungsten Carbide (TC) Coarse Double Cut End Mills that are made specifically for use with my high speed rotary hand tools. This set contains drills in 10 different profiles such as round, oval, conical, round, cylindrical etc. with a maximum drill head diameter of 6 mm (1/4 inch). These are high quality burrs that come with a case to prevent damage. They look well made; I didn't find any flaws. Tungsten carbide is very hard and strong, but can become brittle and chip when struck against another hard steel bit or tool. The burrs and body are visible in 4 images. The listing shows more specific burr profiles and head size details. They are best used on jewelry metals such as silver, gold or platinum, as well as aluminium, brass, copper and soft metals. Burr life is prolonged if Burr, wax lubricant is used. They can be used for ferrous metals and welds or soft iron, but drill life will be reduced even if they are made of tungsten carbide. For steel it is better to use a lower speed For softer metals use light pressure at high speed and with lubricating wax, they are great and eat away material easily. Plastic can also be shaped with it. I would not use these cutters for woodworking, as a deep single-cut cutter (AlumaCut) is more suitable for this. High-speed rotating tools WILL throw debris that can cause serious injury. Safety first! Better to be safe than sorry. I highly recommend this set of Tinpec brand carbide end mills, Tinpec double cut milling cutters with 1/8" shank and 1/4" head, tungsten steel grinding tips for woodworking, drilling, metal carving, engraving and...
