Review on πŸ”Œ ACDelco Professional 11A15 Front Passenger Side Power Window Regulator with Motor: Superior Quality and Reliability by Greg Roberts

Revainrating 5 out of 5

From the passenger side.

I have a 2003 Silverado LS 1500 4WD with an extended cab and tilting doors (rear seat is small). Passenger window replaced. This happens when the power window motor is installed. You can also exchange everything, because everything has to be removed anyway, even just to exchange the engine. And it's difficult to just buy a motor (in any case, it's almost impossible to put it in). The product is supplied pre-lubricated with grease. I put a drop of white lithium grease on the steering wheels and some on the tracks. The OE gear slides out as instructed on YouTube, and the new Element slides in (with a little wobble) fairly easily. All tabs (2) fit perfectly, the two main poles are strong and durable. The engine looks about the same. The window goes up and down, up and down like a song. Couldn't be happier with his work even though it was free. The first served 15 years. I hope this lasts at least 10 years. Could easily do the driver's side if it ever goes. Repair costs $400 + This repair costs $84, item cost only. I'm glad I did.

Pros
  • Tough finish
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
