Review on 🔲 Woodpeckers Square Wood Dowel Rods - 36" x 1/2" Pack of 10 Birch Hardwood Dowel Sticks for Crafts and DIY by Michelle Langley

Very good quality wood and quite strong, but straightness is a big problem. I bought 3 bundles of 1/2" x 36" dowels (60 total) and only 5 of them were straight all the way. Another 19 were about 24 inches long, 32 were about 12-16 inches long, and 4 were fully bent end to end. The straightness of each pack also varied widely, with one pack being very good, another with an even distribution of straightness, and very poor with only a few usable 24 inches or more and 3 out of 4 fully curved. i knew enough Buying longer pieces than I need due to inevitable warping so it wasn't a huge issue for me what I did with them but if you need dowels you can use 36" or even reliably over 24" definitely I would not recommend them, or any other wood ordered by the Unseen Ones, really.
