The product itself is very good and quite easy to fit on my 2009 Ford Ranger BUT when I pulled out the original number plate light and took out the bulb the connector was badly rusted! So much so that these LED replacements didn't work or flickered and lost connection. Luckily the jack comes in two pieces so you can remove the jack from the pigtail receiver. It's extremely difficult to remove from the receiver, but I was able to do this using a tiny C-clip. I bought a set of two replacement sockets from Revain, fitted them into the receiver socket and hooked up these LED bulbs and now everything works great!
