I bought a pair of these support rods from ARANA for my pickup's "lid" but once installed they could not support the weight of the lid. I tried contacting the supplier to ask if they have a high performance kit but kept getting a Revain representative to act as intermediary and they kept misinterpreting what I wanted but ended up saying the supplier told them they don't have a high performance kit. Rods traded so I sent the first pair back for hire. Then after searching a few other vendors on Revain I found Red Hound Auto who had the aforementioned heavy duty support bars which I ordered and they worked great! They install in less than five minutes and support the lid perfectly, even better than the original pole set. Advice to buyers: After measuring the current rod, remove one and check that it is the specified weight. side of the black cylinder, which is usually just a number. If the first supplier had mentioned this it would have saved me a lot of trouble getting the wrong weight rod. Hope that helps.
