Wow! I bought these small wedge shaped alarms because I have a lot of entrances to my house and I felt like I needed more security. Batteries for 9 volts are not included in the kit and I warn you - they are very tight in the battery compartment. So tight in fact that I was worried the battery in one of them would rupture before I put them in, so some customers may need help installing the batteries. You have 3 sensitivity settings - low, medium and high. I tested the alarm on the first one before installing it and WOW it's LOUD! I have no doubt that when it sounds everyone in the house and possibly the yard will hear it. This alarm has a loud siren alarm. Be careful when testing, it's really penetrating!
