Review on PRYSM Bake Element Replacement for WB44T10010 by David Stewart

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Old oven, new element.

I preheated my old GE Spectra oven (it was in the house we bought 9 years ago so I'm not sure how old it is but based on research I'm guessing 2001 ). Bake cupcakes. It reached temperature and as I put the cupcakes in I noticed they didn't rise at all so I looked around the oven. In fact, the baking element (the element at the bottom of this oven) broke in two. I immediately researched which item to purchase to replace it but had difficulties as I could not find an exact match to my model number (JBP24B0B4WH). This one looked just like the old one and some other websites offered it for older Spectra ovens so I took a chance. I ordered it on a Saturday afternoon and it was on my doorstep when I got home from work. Monday! Installation took about 2 minutes (I watched several videos on how to do it. Very easy). I then preheated the oven to 500 degrees to make homemade pizza and it seemed to heat up a bit faster than the old element and worked great. There was a slight odor but I read online that this is typical for a new item and will fade with time and use. Super fast shipping and I am happy with the product. It was also significantly cheaper than the same item on online parts sites.
