First, don't believe the product image, this is for YS298. This part was then correctly tested for the "This Part Fits" feature for the 2008 Ford Escape at my purchase. Maybe this will help. The YS-335 tensioner has an M10 screw. Since I didn't have the original part because the mounting bolt had failed and the tensioner and V-ribbed belt had been lost, I had no comparison. The most important is the year of manufacture of this car which is written on the OEM information sticker on the driver's door - September 2007 and this is a 2008 model. The correct part is YS298 with M8 bolt. I didn't return the YS335 because it said right on the bag "Non-refundable if bag is opened". So buyers beware. PS: The YS298 part fits the 2007 Escape well, but not the 2008 model.
