I started wearing a couple silicone bracelets that I bought from the football stadium where i graduated. I still have them and they’ve never come off. Ever. They can get wet so I never have to take them off. Which is why they probably still haven’t broken.About a year ago it seemed the bracelets for men was becoming fashionable. Celebrities, especially athletes, would be seen wearing several at once and on both wrists. So I started looking online at the different styles on the "higher end” priced and more fashionable mens bracelets. I stumbled upon a website that had a decent variety with very high reviews. The bracelets were all adjustable so you have the strings hanging off like this one. I can’t remember the store but I bought two different styles (one was beaded and the other was made from some kind of rope-like material) and they were pretty pricey but I’ve always been told you get what you pay for. Plus the reviews were all great. The white one broke within the first couple of days while trying to pull the excess string to tighten it. The beaded one lasted close to a month before it broke. I vowed to never buy another bracelet like that again. They were very difficult to tighten once you put them on, especially if you live alone. They weren’t waterproof material so had to be removed every morning during my shower. And they both broke while pulling the ends to tighten. Doing that twice a day made them weak I suppose and is the reason they broke so fast.So here we are a year later and I found a few I liked. Most wear leather but didn’t need to have the strings pulled to tighten. I just wasn’t a fan of most so when I saw this one I bought it. It has the strings to pull to tighten but it was a lot cheaper than the ones before plus I loved the message on it. So I tried it anyway using a gift card. When I got it I was worried to pull the strings to tighten it but it was actually easy and smooth. Even without help! The fabric seems durable and easy to adjust so I was very happy with the purchase. Plus it doesn’t have too much excess string hanging off your wrist once tightened. The one thing I don’t like is that it’s not water proof material. So I’ve had to take it off every day like the others. But so far it hasn’t seemed to weaken as I loosen then tighten and it’s so smooth and easy to pull that I can’t imagine it breaking for a while. I’m not a huge fan of the excess strings that look like tied sneakers but this one doesn’t have much hanging over. So I’m happy with that also. Now we will just see how long it holds together!
