At first this external hard drive was great! It was a good price for me, a poor student. I used it for study and work and for storing photos as a memory photographer. Once upon a time, my laptop has didn't recognize it, so I plugged it into my friend's computer and it worked! When I plugged it back into my Mac, it worked as usual. Every time it didn't recognize the hard drive, I turned it on hooked it up to my computer and after that it worked fine. Eventually it stopped working. "Repair" and "Verify" didn't work either when I used Disk Utility. I stopped giving it to my friend who uses it for its PS4. I think this thing is meant to work on PC and consoles. I've since invested in Seagate. So yeah, definitely not Mac.
