Review on Colorbasket 01242 Kid's Weather-Resistant Front Handlebar Bike Basket with Adjustable Leather Straps - White by Chris Santos

I bought this basket to store my Schwinn Loop folding bike with my phone, water bottles, keys and bits and bobs when I ride my bike. Gave 4 stars because the "leather" straps and buckles look a little fishy. I'm not sure how long they will last but only time will tell. But like I said, I don't intend to put heavy objects in it. I already have a plan B. Velcro in case they fail over time. The basket itself seems to stand up to the elements, but we'll see. If it bounces a lot when riding, I can put velcro around the bottom of the basket to better fix it on the handlebar. Overall I like the look of the basket on the bike and will update if necessary to report any deterioration over time.
