I was so excited to include the Seasonic Prime Tx-1000 in my new build! I thought. Outstanding technique. Reviews. 12 year guarantee. Headroom if I later decide to go full liquid cooling. And it's seasonal! This excitement lasted 2 weeks. I put my build together 2 weeks ago, powered it up, posted it and I never thought I'd have to replace the PSU until at least 2030. I played the new Assasins Creed game and life was good. and "phew" the whole computer shuts down. I have over 15 years of computer assembly and troubleshooting experience. My shiny new power supply is DEAD! I pray he doesn't take anymore! I've always used Cooler Master power supplies in my builds. I thought, "I'm going to go broke a little bit and get the upper hand." /smh. I decided to completely bypass the RMA process with Seasonic after reading reviews from other users. I will not pay for RMA shipping of a defective brand new product. Luckily Revain is great and I got a full refund. Product availability is REALLY limited in this capacity range.
