Review on EatSmart Products Precision Bathroom Accutrack by Scott Adaymiln

EatSmart's customer service is rated 5 stars "Excellent". Unfortunately, the original scale AND the replacement scale did not work properly. Both units will fluctuate rapidly around "ones" and "tenths" on the digital display without any fixation at a given weight until the display goes blank. Fluctuations occurred in the range of 1 to 2, sometimes up to 3 pounds, without being tied to a specific weight. Also, the "Profile" function never provided a history of previous weighings. I've tried multiple surfaces including ceramic tile and concrete with no success. I suspected these two units might be part of a bad production run from China, but an EatSmart tech told me they test all the scales; especially the spare parts before sending them out. With the number of positive reviews far outnumbering the negative ones, I can't understand why two different devices perform equally poorly. Despite this issue, I have been very impressed with EatSmart's efforts to resolve this issue. They immediately sent a replacement and when that didn't work they offered to work with me again to see if we could solve the mystery. In the end we agreed that they would give me the money back and send me a "call sign" to return the scale. This company definitely cares about their customers and has fully responded to both my emails and calls, repeatedly offering to do whatever I wanted to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, despite over 500 positive reviews to the contrary, this device did not work for me. I would not hesitate to deal with them again in the future. I'm just disappointed in this particular item.
