They are expensive but worth it. It's a heavy gauge stainless steel that won't bend with reasonable use (except when you stick it in a vise and hit it with a sledgehammer or something). These measuring cups easily scoop the amount of flour you need, you only need to level the top so no extra tools are needed. After washing in the dishwasher they seem to repel stains, maybe because they're new, but when they stain I just wipe them off. It's an expensive item, but it's worth it, and I expect it will be a quarrel when I'm gone.
