Replaced that purge valve and reset valve at the same time and 3 EVAP errors were gone. These were P0440, P0442 and P0446. Many experienced mechanics say you can't just buy parts and throw them in your car hoping to fix problems. Most of them have interactive scan tools that cost $1,000 and up and then require costly upgrades to make the tool work on newer vehicles. I have a cheap interactive npn scan tool that just tells me what code I have. I can't afford an expensive interactive scanner or an expensive mechanic. I got lucky and solved the problem by buying two pieces for about $23 each. I hope this helps others. However, be aware that you may have electrical wiring harness problems or other issues that purchasing these parts will not resolve.
