Technique Matters to Poachers

I work in a restaurant and have used these molds before. There are so many brands and types and you never know what you can buy when it's cheap. Just like you, I've read reviews and many people have stated that they became unusable after a few uses. But there's a big catch when it comes to these reviews. "Technics and Product Care. 1. Washing with mild soap is fine. But if you use a little scrubbing you will ruin the coating. I just wipe it down with a cloth with soap. No sponge or dishwasher. And if you use a sponge never use the rough side it doesn't stick food won't burn on it so no need to rub I would suggest putting the ring in the pot when you turn on the stove the ring heats up to pan temp and works great 3. Splashing works better than the oil on the ring itself Slow Cooking slow allows the food to shrink quickly creating a seal at the bottom preventing it from being pushed under the ring Cooking until the sides touch the ring. This will cause your food to stick/burn to the pan. With these rings, you want to cook at a lower temperature. Also when cooking is important. All of this allows you to cook likes you to cook food well that doesn't stick and doesn't burn. I've cooked different types of eggs, pancakes and even cookies in it.
