only grief with this thing. I've tried this with Windows 7 laptops and desktops, Server 2008, Mac Mini (older) and Mac laptops (newer). I can never get the USB to work when switching between devices, this only works if I unplug all connections to power off then plug back in which is a complete PITA. It made me so mad I threw it in the box and put it away, just pulled it out to try again with a different set of cars and it still sucks. I went online and tried to find information on how to fix the problem but nothing. I tried downloading the "drivers" from their website and it installs a completely useless piece of software with all the options grayed out. Although it is called "driver" on their website, I see that TrendNet support says there is no driver. I mainly use it to switch between displays as this feature works well but I need to have 4 different keyboards and mice connected to each system separately or plan to do all the connections every time I want to switch machines to disconnect/reconnect. I know this product isn't very expensive, but looking back, I wouldn't pay more than $15 for a single display sharing feature. Didn't have time to check the mic and audio. To destruction with this device. :(Also, I'm an IT pro and my job is troubleshooting, so trust me I've done all the general stuff that the TrenNet support guys mentioned on the forums.
