Review on πŸ”§ Waveshare Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 IO Board: An Efficient Development Platform and Reference Base-Board Design for CM4 Without WiFi by Vladimir Castillo

Revainrating 4 out of 5

This is way worse than the CM3 I/O boards! Use a third-party theme.

Raspberry Pi I/O board for CM4 is a piece of junk. Three of these boards have died out of nowhere and once an $80 module fell out with them. Build quality is abysmal - on two different boards I caused the Pi to shut down unintentionally just by bumping into the fan header!

Pros
  • The I/O board allows you to quickly build systems using off-the-shelf components such as HATs and PCIe cards that can contain NVMe, SATA, network or USB devices.
Cons
  • No Instructions
