Review on 🔧 Pair of (2) Rear Liftgate Lift Supports Gas Springs Shocks 4535 for Chrysler Town & Country 2001-2007, Chrysler Voyager 2001-2003, Dodge Caravan 2001-2007, Dodge Grand Caravan 2001-2007 by Steven Lane

After a few mishaps between the tailgate and my head on a cold morning I decided to go ahead and order replacement stays. The price was right and after reading some reviews I decided to buy it. The shelves arrived quickly and well packaged. After finding the correct Torx (star) screwdriver, I found that a six foot step stool seemed like the perfect way to support the tailgate after removing the braces. I finished the right side first and then continued to the left. I had to reuse washers and nylon mounts from stock stays. When I was finished, I noticed that the tailgate had a bit more resistance when closing manually and was concerned that this might stress the automatic closer. After running the Power Open/Close function for a few cycles, everything seems to be working normally. The whole work took no more than 30 minutes. The originals lasted (pun intended) 15 years, so I hope these "don't let me down" :)
