For my office, I bought 2 IRU Office 511 PCs. This model has a hard drive that is ST500DM002-1BD142. He was informed of the hard drive's crackling while it was in use, and I made the decision to use the MHDD program to check it. The SMART parameters have non-zero values for 1, 7, 195, 240, 241, and 241; also, the RAW values have at least 6-7 digits. No defective sectors were discovered during scanning, although during scanning, sectors with a long response time arise at the slightest vibration of the system unit case (if you move it, for example), indicating the weakness of the HDD's design. Such a hard disk won't live long, and performance issues will appear shortly as a result. I'm already making plans for when to take the wheels out for more dependable ones and go under warranty.
