Just fitted this footpeg to my Schwinn Varsity 1250 700c hybrid bike. The only thing to note before purchasing is that this stand may not install properly on some disc brake systems. For me personally, that wasn't a problem as this bike has cantilever brakes. In my last photo, I'm holding a 5mm hex wrench (the most common size on bikes) a little close to where the brake rotor should be, so you can see the gap is small. Depending on the shape of the frame and the angle of the tubes, I could see that the strut and brake caliper were aligned, which could also make assembly difficult. This is the perfect stand for my needs. Assembled in minutes, looks great and is much stronger than my predecessor. I travel a lot, carry a bag with essentials like a few tools in case something breaks etc, so the extra support suits me. Installation Tip: Tighten all the screws until they are snug when installing. If you do this before you've fully tightened anything, the mount will set where it fits best and basically align itself to where it needs to be. Then, as if you were doing this with the bolts that hold the handlebars to the stem, tighten them evenly, alternating each bolt a little at a time until fully tightened. Hope that helps! craig
