Review on ✈️ MIDWEST Aviation Snip Set with KUSHN POWER by Warren Hess

I am giving these scissors 5 stars but only after I have repaired them. I bought a used set to save 10€. The green ones worked fine but the red ones scratched and stuck when closing. So I ordered a new red one to replace them but the new scissors also scratched loudly. I fiddled with some used scissors and found that all 3 screws on the handle were loose. After tightening the screws or locknuts as tight as I could, the scissors worked perfectly, but there were light scratches from heavy use with loose screws. I then checked the new shears and found that all 3 screws on the handle were loose. I tightened these bolts (I used a 7/64 hex wrench by the way) or tightened the nuts as tight as I could. Now they open and close gently and silently. Since both the used and new had the same loose bolts, and since they are secured with locknuts, I can only assume they were never tightened properly when installed, or they are using defective locknuts. Only time and use will prove that. So check the screws. Even if they cut mine well, loose screws wear them out quickly.
