They are suitable for all seasons, but mainly for winter. They essentially replace the trucks' headlights when the plow is mounted and block the trucks' headlights. The instructions show how to connect them to get the best results. When running in front of the snow thrower, a heated element is a must to have a good view of what's in front of the snow thrower and not get blocked by ice or snow. The quality can't be beat and I dropped one of these in water and it didn't leak. I temporarily wired them up with a real voltage regulator to test their lighting and heating properties because once they're in place and all wires are waterproofed, stretched and strapped, removing the non-working light is simply a waste. They worked very well and will duplicate the truck lights but with a heated lens. Came with some hardware to install the plow. Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!
