I have purchased at least four transformers/adapters over the years. All of them were bulky, heated up during use, and often sagged in sockets when all adapters were plugged in. By moving the transformer away from the socket, the problem of sagging is solved. Additionally, the desktop outlets were really handy for putting on the bedside table and then plugging in two multiple devices and still charging your phone and Kindle directly from the USB-C and USB outlets. A backlit on/off switch allowed it to be turned off when not in use. Best of all, it never got as hot as the others. After using it for 2 weeks while on holiday in the UK I cannot recommend this enough.
