Great brush, not plastic but in a plastic bag
Great refills for my pen, work really well and last a long time if you remember to keep them in a damp place then they get sticky pretty quickly. I just put my pen in a glass jar on the sink to dry after each use. One complaint is that it comes in a zip-top plastic bag with a piece of paper stapled to it. I know this product will appeal to people trying to reduce plastic use and waste so a change in packaging would be in order. However, it is less malleable than a plastic brush, so still better.
