The gate is about 500 feet from the house and you can't see it from the house (through the forest ) why we bought this add-on. It just doesn't work. I've spent countless hours with tech support and on 3 different devices to no avail. Sometimes it works but other times the app says it works but the gate is still open or still closed. It won't sync with the Tor and the app will tell you that you're closing it when you actually open it, or that you've closed it when it actually didn't do anything. The indicator on the transmitter is green and all systems indicate everything is fine, it just doesn't work more than 50% of the time.
