3.25 stars. So I bought this fan because I wanted to put something on a south east facing patio with a pergola cover. It was important that it adds moisture but doesn't get anyone wet. Thing is, you can see that mist on the fan, but you can't feel the direct moisture on you, and that being said, I'd rather have a little more moisture. In humid climates, it probably won't help at all. So if it's warm you'll be more comfortable, if it's a little bearable it'll become more bearable, if it's unbearably hot you might need more. I think you could say that in a dry climate you would lower the temperature by 10-12 degrees happily. In conclusion, I'm glad I bought it, yes, but I could be happier, don't expect miracles.
