Review on 🌱 PLA PRO Printer Filament Reusable: The Ultimate Solution for Sustainable 3D Printing by Greg Baker

Worst idea, not worth the bother at all

I thought it would be a good idea to save a few bucks because I already had coils but no , it was a lousy idea and I didn't save anything. Actually I lost. I bought two of these for the spools I already had but somehow they were different sized centers, too small to fit the center of the one spool I have but too big to fit another brand of spool to have. This means that the first time you try to print something, it creates an awfully tangled mess that you end up throwing away within the first few yards of use. The other issue was that even though it was sealed in a desiccant pouch, it was quite damp right out of the box, it was very brittle, oh did I mention the tangle, and that I got a bit of pressure from literally just the filament stretched across the floor trying to untangle it, it hissed and popped most of the time so even the part I could print looked like garbage. At this point I don't care if they pay you $20 for these top-ups, don't be fooled, it's still not worth it. If I could give negative stars, I definitely would.

Pros
  • Replacement filament for Inland PLA PRO (PLA+) 3D printer vacuum sealed with desiccant
Cons
  • Slightly torn
