Review on Razorri Comodo Ceramic Fermentation Crock - 2L Traditional Water-Sealed Jar With Glazed Weights - Perfect For Kombucha, Sauerkraut, Kimchi, Pickles (Tangerine Tango) by Pete Martin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good size for starting out.

I used this quite a bit this summer to ferment squash pickles, make sauerkraut, and dill pickles from recipes and instructions I found on YouTube, and everything turned out great except my first batch of kraut, and I think that's because it needed more salt. I'm hoping to try some kimchi soon. Since I'm the only one in the house that eats fermented foods, this was a good size for one person. It does require a bit more attention than the kits for mason jars since this has a water trough that needs to stay full to complete the seal. I set a timer on my Echo to remind me to check it once a day, and that helped me to maintain the water level.
