Review on BOSCH T10RC 10-Pc T-Shank Jigsaw Blade Set: Enhanced for Superior Wood Cutting Precision by Rene Carrell

The knives are too thin and tend to slip off the knife roller guide.

I received these for use with a Black and Decker Bdejs300. They work great on regular pine boards. But with hardwood, the blade tends to detach from the blade guide roller on the jigsaw, causing the blade to detach 1/4 inch when cutting. I bought these specifically for a project using 3/4" thick Baltic Birch. When I tried them on regular pine boards they worked great and made really clean cuts as promised. But when I made them on Baltic Birch plywood the blades all went everywhere chipped off the blade roller guide. They basically destroyed $20 worth of wood for my project and I couldn't use it - none of that. I had to do my project with the chipped blade I already had and then I have the edges The blade, which was not included in this set, was left on the blade roller guide and it gave me good, consistent cuts. The clean-cut Bosch blades just bit into the wood because they weren't seated properly on the roller guide popped out of the guide and deflected 1/4". They fit perfectly in the T-slot and are held firmly in the knife clamp . When I look at the blades and compare them to the blades I already have, these Bosch blades are thinner for a clean cut. I think this gives them a lot of flexibility from side to side and also means that they are quite loose in the blade roller guide and will therefore spring sideways even when the jigsaw is stable and straight against a piece of wood I have clamped onto my plywood, if a guide along which you can guide the shoe and keep the jigsaw perfectly straight. They also tended to detach from the blade guide within 4 inches of starting the cut. For regular pine boards, and specifically I've been working with 1x6 boards, they made nice clean cuts. Perhaps due to the fact that the jaw is softer, the blade defect just did not come out. live and learn They just won't stay in place in the Black and Decker Bdejs300 puzzle model. So if this is your saw then these blades are not for you. I would never use them on a closet or anywhere else where I need to get the right cut and don't have excess material to chew on.
