I recently got a new Dell computer with its own SSD for C drive. I plan on saving photos and playing around with them and I thought it seemed a little limited so I installed this thing. It was a bit of trial and error because Dell had connectors inside the case to plug it in, but then the system didn't give a clear indication that the drive was working or even being recognized. Long story short, what I basically had to do was go into "System Management" or "Disk Management" or whatever and format that drive. I think I did anyway. I chose to set it up as "exFAT" because I vaguely remember seeing the term before. I'm no computer genius, but the end result was a second SSD with an additional 223GB of storage. My photos will go there and I will leave the other hard drive for the operating system and other software. I am very happy.
