Just bought this for my new HP Specter detachable laptop that only uses USB Type-C ports The drive is slower than a Samsung flash drive configured for USB 3.1. But VERY handy thanks to the type C plug. One problem: the plug gets VERY HOT in use. I used to have this problem with a Sandisk UltraFit Flash. In this case, the UltraFit package came loose, exposing the chip and LED. I sent the parts back to SanDisk and they replaced them quickly and free of charge. Overheating is to be expected as these engines move billions of electrons in a very short time, but be sure to keep the receipts in case your device overheats and fails. SamDisk IMO is a reputable company and fully committed to their products and warranties.
