So far so good for me. I have an eSATA hard drive and an eSATA BDXL burner connected to it. Both work well on the map with Linux and Windows. The firmware on this card does not cause problems when devices are not connected. The card contained FH and LP brackets. The shape of the card is convenient for me as it doesn't impede airflow to the neighboring GPU as much as some larger or longer cards. The card also includes headers for activity LEDs in case you (like me) prefer to use LEDs for activity. My biggest complaint so far is that this card costs about twice as much as the long-running ASM1062 AHCI item. Chip. The other characteristics of the card (size/shape, LED connectors) convinced me to try this card instead of buying it a little cheaper.
