I've been using cheap knee pads for years. After buying and using them for a week and finding that they REALLY stay on my lap without falling off, I'm buying a second pair today. once. I figured everyone had to keep reaching down, tightening the straps and putting the knee pads back on because the elastic wears out (those don't have elastic, which worries me). My daughter, 18, thought they were too big and didn't try them as we were working on all fours the other day. But then I found that the next day she wears them and loves them - she just has to pull them really tight. Maybe I'll stop at two pairs. However, for small jobs I usually only wear a knee brace. I love her. I wore them every day for a week. Buying a second pair so we can share 4 knee pads between me and my kids.
