The wood veneer is much more brittle than the typical UGEARS puzzle
In this particular set the wood feels thinner and the veneer is more prone to chipping. It was so bad that it was impossible to grind all the screws in the elevator machine. To compensate for this, a lot of waxing was done. The axles broke due to build pressure and other issues due to poor quality materials used in this particular kit. The assembler collected 65 of these three-dimensional wooden puzzles, so experience shows that the product has defects.
