I don't know how we lived without ratchet straps but now it seems like there is never enough at home. They are good for everything from helping cut down trees in the yard to storing the kayak on our car and everything in between. They have a 400lb tensile strength so I wouldn't use them on our bikes but for small jobs it's just right. Package. It was like fighting a bear to get them for free. When I did that I was satisfied. It's exactly what you'd expect from an affordable ratchet strap, with the bonus of a spring-loaded detent that's easily distinguishable from the underside. If you've ever played around with unloaded and identical-looking triggers, you know how nice this is. I can tell right away that the black coating on the hooks is wearing off, just like any other ratchet strap I've had. ever used but oh well. They appear to be a nice tight weave and quality metal so there probably won't be too much wear or loosening, but I'll be sure to update if we come across any of this.
