Review on 🎮 Genuine Nintendo OEM Wii DVD Drive Disc Replacement Part for Effective Repair by Mike Malvo

I bought the Wii when it first came out about 15 years ago. Fast forward to today. I am married with two children, one of which is a six year old boy who loves playing Super Smash Brothers Brawl at a nearby switchboard. Not wanting to spend $300, I dusted off my Wii and bought a copy on eBay. The disc was unreadable. Thinking the disc was bad, I bought another copy. The same thing. A little googling revealed that early versions of the Wii could not read double density DVDs like Smash Brothers and Metroid. I have sent emails, tweets and Nintendo DM regarding the fix. I then called their customer service and was informed that they used to fix it for free but no longer offer that service and will not offer a remedy. I felt overwhelmed for several days when it occurred to me that replacing the drive might help. It worked! Now my son is enjoying Smash Brothers, although he still wants to continue (hell!). Installation can be a little tricky but watch a lot of youtube videos and you should be good to go.
