No surprises except that it's almost $40 cheaper than online parts stores. This is an exact replacement that fits perfectly and performs as expected. The replacement took about an hour and saved me over $125 in repairs. Find videos on YouTube that show the repair technicians in detail what to do. It couldn't be easier. All you need is a 1/4" socket wrench and needle nose pliers. Thermostats are not included so I recommend purchasing those as well as they are relatively cheap and have about the same lifespan as the element.
