I was surprised it came from mainland China. came pretty quickly too. It's neatly finished, but I had to clean it up first. There were a few minor scratches on the cone which did not affect use - just cosmetic. But there was a deeper scratch about 2mm long with burrs. It would ruin my lathe headstock. I filed the burr down with a jeweler's file and buffed the entire adapter with Flitz polish and green then white Scotchbrite pads. Now it works and looks like it should from the factory. I had a few pieces of morse 1 tape that I wanted to use in a morse cone 2 machine. This was the only source for this adapter so I'm happy with that. Too bad there is no quality control. At the same time, I ordered a Morse 2 chuck adapter from another eBay seller in Brooklyn, NY. Same price as this one and had a nice smooth finish with no blemishes.
