My first try with the left window was a bit bumpy. As I removed the backing, the foil stuck to itself. Luckily I managed to cancel it, but it left an indelible mark on the finished product. The second attempt on the right window was flawless. Unfortunately, the film wasn't enough to remake the left. Uses the Windex method. I thoroughly washed and dried the windows. I then trimmed the film to +1 inch excess. I then sprayed more Windex onto my windows, peeled off the top edge of the backing, applied that top edge to my window, then slowly peeled off the backing, smoothed it out with a scraper, then trimmed the edges with a sharp blade.
