Great product and would highly recommend

I've posted before and after. My window had a crack and they replaced it with this clear glass, which made no sense for a bathroom window that obviously contains safety glass. So I had no choice but to buy this product and am very happy with the result. I made everything myself and my husband was so impressed. Very easy to install. You can't look through anything I wanted.

  • There's something to it

Really great product for the price.

Great product. I moved into a house with no curtains and an unusual blackout window on the front door. I felt very unsafe, the neighbors could look right into my house in the evenings, and I felt very uncomfortable. I will receive the film in a larger format. I cut it to fit the window. It was easy to install. Credit cards are used to smooth out the bubbles. Really great product for the price.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Useless features

A bit tricky but great result

My first try with the left window was a bit bumpy. As I removed the backing, the foil stuck to itself. Luckily I managed to cancel it, but it left an indelible mark on the finished product. The second attempt on the right window was flawless. Unfortunately, the film wasn't enough to remake the left. Uses the Windex method. I thoroughly washed and dried the windows. I then trimmed the film to +1 inch excess. I then sprayed more Windex onto my windows, peeled off the top edge of the backing…

What I need: Home Accessories

I've never had good luck with static sticky window items so I bought these. It is easy to install and, based on previous home experience, easy to remove, even after being in direct sunlight for 6-8 hours a day by the window for three years. I didn't want to hang curtains in the bedroom, I have very nice wooden blinds. The previous owners hung it and placed it too far from the window, leaving about an inch of room on the sides so you can see inside when it's dark with the lights on. Not perfect.

Maybe useful tips - from me for you

Looks great and serves its purpose! I used to have curtains on my bathroom window but I wanted them to look more minimalist and have more space for my stuff. Measure the window, cut off the adhesive paper. run in a straight line. Use a ruler and blade to cut along the lines. I measured a few more millimeters or two just in case. Make sure your blade is sharp so it doesn't snag and ruin the edges. Spray on both sides and on the window as directed. This was my first time using window cleaner and…

The price is impressive

Someone decided to put a window in our shower room. It had a curtain, but I didn't like the way it looked and I thought it was kind of ugly. I bought this expecting the worst. I recommend washing the windows first with some kind of rough cutter. You have no idea how much this will help. Then I filled a small spray bottle with Dawn dish soap and water. I sprayed part of the window at a time. Then I cut out the vinyl pieces, leaving burrs on both sides. I then removed the vinyl and covered the…

  • It's amazing
