After being annoyed by other thermometers with very slow temperature readings, I decided on this one and I am very satisfied with the product! I've been using it for a few months now and haven't had any problems. It turns on automatically when you unfold the metal gauge and it also has an automatic shut-off timer. So if like me you're out and changing the water in your tank, you don't have to worry about draining the battery if you leave it on. The icing on the cake for me is the waterproof aspect. Overall a good product and I would definitely recommend it!
