I have had the AquaTru for a year now and it has been a huge waste of time and money. My first problem is that the device jammed after I washed the front bin. Support sent me a new base unit, but that didn't solve the problem. I found that if I waited all night the unit would eventually restart on its own, so I made an extra pitcher of water before washing the components (which you should do weekly) and crossed my fingers it comes back . the next morning at work. Then the front container started dripping all over the counter. AquaTru sent me a new front container. The new container didn't seal or leak so I was happy for 3 weeks. Then, just like the old one, it started dripping onto the counter. I can't tell you how many hours I've spent troubleshooting this AquaTru over the past year. I've called support probably half a dozen times and followed the troubleshooting procedures step by step. My husband and I had underfloor reverse osmosis systems for 18 years before we bought this AquaTru. Undercounter units were easier to use and cost significantly less money than AquaTru. Once installed, they work, which unfortunately doesn't apply to AquaTru.
