and it seemed to work very well. But it was so difficult for me.

Let me start by saying that this isn't necessarily a reflection of the Garmin product itself, but rather a reflection of this particular package. When I received my kit, I immediately noticed that the Garmin box (no shipping) was a bit worn (i.e. the corners were crumpled and frayed). Of course, I didn't really think about it at first, thinking that maybe it's normal to sit on the seller's shelf for a long time. Just a guess. After setting up the sensors, I found that the cadence and heart rate sensors weren't working on arrival. I was able to change the battery in the cadence sensor and successfully sync it to the Garmin 520 along with the speed sensor, but turning on the heart rate monitor was a bit tricky. Please note that when replacing the battery in the heart rate monitor, ensure that the battery is removed for at least 10 minutes before a new battery is inserted. I didn't realize it and had to call Garmin support before I could finally get the HR monitor to work and sync. I activated 520 upon arrival and it seemed to work fine. However, since I had a very difficult time getting all the sensors to work until I finally figured this all out (and of course had to buy new batteries that I didn't have in stock), the return period is 30 days already passed. Window. When I actually hit the road to use my new Garmin 520 cycling computer and sensors, I found that the elevation data was wildly inaccurate. When they called Garmin they found that the altimeter was most likely not good. Luckily there is a manufacturer warranty which allowed me to return and replace it through Garmin. But due to their policy, I had to pay for shipping and handling the return, and of course the waiting time to receive my new package is an inconvenience for me. I believe I received a previously sold and used product that was repackaged and resold to me. Again, this is just a guess and I have no actual proof. But I'm not a happy camper, or for that matter. cyclist.
