This laptop stand allows the user to adjust the angle to 7 different heights. I personally keep mine closest to the lowest for my lap table. There are small adjustable metal pins that change the height. They are very easy to move. One side moves easier than the other (one is stiffer) which leads me to think one is stronger, but I've never had any doubts about using it and sit at my laptop for at least 12 hours a day. The only thing I would suggest is that both sides move the same way so the user feels it's solid. This stand is for those who want to get rid of hanging around over their laptops. I recommend this laptop stand to anyone who has a computer and spends some time in front of it.
